Inbox Sentinel ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by theinfopower.dev. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our hosted SaaS service at theinfopower.dev or purchase a Docker self-hosted license.
By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you create an account or purchase a license, we collect:
- Name and email address
- Billing address (collected by Stripe on our behalf)
- Payment method details (processed exclusively by Stripe — we do not receive or store card numbers)
2.2 Usage Data
For the hosted SaaS service, we may collect:
- API request logs (timestamps, classification counts, error rates)
- IP address and client information for security and abuse-prevention purposes
- Feature usage statistics to improve the service
2.3 Email Content Submitted via API
When you submit email content to the Inbox Sentinel classification API, that content is processed in real time to return a classification result. Email content is processed in memory and is not stored, logged, or retained after the API response is delivered. We do not read, analyse, or use your email content for any purpose other than returning the classification result you requested.
2.4 Self-Hosted Docker Users
If you run Inbox Sentinel on your own infrastructure via Docker, email content never leaves your servers. We collect only the information necessary to validate your license key and provide support when you contact us.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Inbox Sentinel service
- Process your payments through Stripe
- Send transactional emails (receipts, license keys, security notifications)
- Respond to support requests
- Monitor service health and prevent abuse
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to delivering the Inbox Sentinel service.
4. We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information or your email content to any third party, for any reason, at any time.
Your data is your data. We have no advertising business, no data broker relationships, and no interest in monetising what you send through Inbox Sentinel.
5. Payment Processing — Stripe
All payment transactions are processed by Stripe, Inc. (stripe.com), a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. When you enter payment details, you are submitting them directly to Stripe's secure environment. We do not receive, store, or have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment credentials.
Stripe's privacy practices are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms.
6. Data Retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. API request logs (excluding email content) are retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging purposes. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days except where retention is required by law.
7. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; however, we take commercially reasonable precautions to protect your data.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address below. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
