Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 February 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Inbox Sentinel ("the Service"), whether as a hosted SaaS subscriber or as a Docker self-hosted licensee, you ("Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

These Terms are between you and theinfopower.dev ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of Inbox Sentinel. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. SaaS Subscription License Terms

Applies to hosted SaaS subscriptions (Monthly and Yearly plans)

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Inbox Sentinel hosted service ("SaaS Service") during your subscription period.

2.1 Subscription Plans

SaaS access is available on a monthly or annual subscription basis. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time by contacting support at support@theinfopower.dev.

2.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API tokens. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

2.3 Acceptable Use

The SaaS Service is licensed for use in classifying email content you own or have explicit permission to process. You must not use the Service to process email content belonging to others without lawful authority, and must not use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purpose.

3. Docker Self-Hosted License Terms

Applies to Docker Yearly and Docker Lifetime license purchases

Upon purchase of a Docker license (Yearly or Lifetime), we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and operate the Inbox Sentinel software on infrastructure owned or controlled by your organisation ("Docker License").

3.1 Scope of License

The Docker License permits deployment for use by a single organisation. You may run the software on one or more servers within your organisation's infrastructure. The license does not permit resale, sublicensing, or use on behalf of third parties as a managed service.

3.2 Yearly Docker License

A Yearly Docker License grants access to software updates and support for a 12-month period from the date of purchase. Upon expiry, you may continue to run the version you have but will not receive new updates or support until the license is renewed.

3.3 Lifetime Docker License

A Lifetime Docker License grants perpetual rights to use and receive updates for the Inbox Sentinel software, for the life of the product. "Life of the product" means so long as Inbox Sentinel is commercially maintained by theinfopower.dev.

3.4 License Key

Docker licenses are delivered via a unique license key sent to your registered email address. You must not share, transfer, or publish your license key. If your key is compromised, contact support for a replacement.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You must not, and must not permit others to:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Inbox Sentinel software beyond what is expressly permitted
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service or software
  • Use the Service to process data in violation of applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service's infrastructure or other customers' data
  • Use the Service to send spam, phishing messages, or any unsolicited bulk communications
  • Resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer your license rights to any third party
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the software
  • Use the Service in a manner that degrades service quality for other users

5. Payment and Billing

All fees are payable in advance. Prices are as published at theinfopower.dev at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice for existing subscribers. All payments are processed by Stripe. Taxes may apply depending on your jurisdiction and will be shown at checkout.

6. Termination

6.1 Termination by You

You may cancel your SaaS subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Docker licenses are not subscription-based and do not require cancellation.

6.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately and without notice if:

  • You breach any provision of these Terms
  • You fail to pay fees when due
  • We are required to do so by law
  • We reasonably believe your use poses a security risk to the Service or other users

6.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to access and use the SaaS Service ends immediately. For Docker licenses, you may continue to run the software version you have at the time of termination, but you will no longer receive updates or support.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in Inbox Sentinel, including software, designs, trademarks, and documentation, remain the exclusive property of theinfopower.dev. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. You retain ownership of all data and content you submit through the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THEINFOPOWER.DEV OR ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR THE USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD $100).

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR LIABILITIES. IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MINIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with internationally recognised principles of commercial law. Both parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting support. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may pursue any legal remedies available under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits either party's right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief for breach of intellectual property obligations.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email or via the Service. Your continued use after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service before the effective date.
